Summary : The chapter opens with Huck hiding a sack of money in Peter Wilk's coffin as Mary Jane, the daughter of Peter Wilks, enters the room where her father's corpse lies. Huck never gets the chance to retrieve the money from the coffin which worries him. The dauphin sells off Peter's possessions such as the slaves and the estate. The dauphin separates a slave family in this chapter, sending the mother and her two sons in two different directions. Huck is somewhat bothered by the separation of the mother and her sons, but he convinces himself that the family will reunite. A question also arises on the whereabouts of the money. The con men question Huck on the disappearance of the money, but Huck tells them the slaves were responsible for the disappearance. Discussion questions : 1.     The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, authorized by Mark Twain was a great novel in my opinion. This book in particular and as a whole contains and teaches many lessons and themes for the reader(s). Huckfinn taught lessons on slavery and sacrifice, which stood out most to me in the novel. Two of the main characters, Huckleberry and Jim had a rather unique, genuine friendship. Huckleberry sacrificed a lot to help Jim. In some instances, He even lied for Jim in order to keep him safe. In the time period of the novel, slavery was a prominent thing. It was also rather audacious for a white male to become close with a black slave. Jim and Huck had a very priceless bond, they taught each other and also learned from one another. I also admired how Mark Twain did not camouflage aspects of slavery. For the most part, Mark Twain delivered the honest truth of slavery toward African Americans. All in all, I feel that this novel is worth the read and all students should have the opportun...

1. "Forever is composed of the nows.": In this quote, Emily Dickinson is insinuating that "forever" is formulated from all of the "nows" which may be all of the moments in someone's life. 2. "That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet": In this quote, the reader feels as if Emily Dickinson may have went through a rough time at that moment in her life. At that moment, Emily Dickinson may felt that she'd never go through what she's going through again and that's what brought her comfort, or "made life so sweet." 3."If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain.": In this quote, Emily may feel that if she helped someone through a difficult time in their life that she would actually serve a purpose instead of being useless.This quote makes one think of the saying "you shall not take the lord's name in vain" which basically means to not call on the lord in useless s...

 Overall, Frankenstein was a good novel. The two most interesting things to me were the pre-face and how alone Walton felt and how Frankenstein's monster was secluded from everyone else. John Walton suffered from loneliness for a while in the preface as he embarks on the ship. There is no one like him to relate to or confide in. Therefore, He turns to his sister for comfort. When I feel alone. I turn to my mother or a close friend for comfort as well. In addition, Frankenstein's monster was secluded from everyone else. No one really accepted him because of how he looked. The way he was treated reminds me of how there is always that one person that was different from everyone else and was often secluded or separated due to how they were perceived. Frankenstein's monster made me realize that everyone has feelings and what a person could really be thinking or going through.

  Psalm 23 was a very calming, comforting scripture. I needed the comfort that I received from reading this scripture. I am enthused of the fact of knowing to be fearless because God will always be on my side.

  The prodigal son is a prime example of everyday life. The father gave his son an efficient amount of money and he wasted it on riotous living. The son found himself in a state of need and dependability when he no longer had anything. Sometimes it is not the parent's fault in result of the child. A parent can do all that they possibly can to rear and provide for their child(ren), but the child will always choose their own path and sometimes make costly decisions. In this case, the father still accepted his son with open arms despite of his careless decisions.

  Psalm 91 brought comfort to me as I read it. This scripture mentioned many important, yet valuable points. The most touching to me was the first two lines: "Those who live in the shelter of the most high will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty". These lines basically mean that those who live by God will dwell in heaven in due time.
